About Us

Midland County Central Dispatch Authority was established in November of 1993. It is a consolidated emergency services answering point, responsible for handling law enforcement, fire and medical requests for the City of Midland and Midland County.

Midland County Central Dispatch is located in the 'old circle mall' at 2727 Rodd Street, Midland, Michigan. We operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The Dispatch center is staffed by a Director, Deputy Director, Administrative Assistant, I.T. Administrator, four Supervisors and 12 Telecommunication Specialists, totaling 20 employees. Our employees are considered 'civilian', meaning they are not officers or deputies.
